Our New Qaaidah Material

Unlike other Qaaidah books, the 'Building Foundation' series is a four parts series that has been handcrafted and carefully tailored to perfectly deliver a firm Qur'aan learning experience. Here's how it works:

Learning to Read

The first of the four-part series aimed.
Our Tajweed curriculum is focused at teaching the basics of Tajweed and the Arabic language.  Each student will learn:

  • The similarities and differenced between letters.
  • And the necessary Tajweed rules required for fluent proficient and confident recitation.

We developed a special writing that allows each child to practically learn to write and key words of the Qur’aan so they can learn how to understand what they are reciting.

Our Islamic Studies Program

Islamic studies

Our very own Islamic Studies curriculum is designed for teaching the Islamic foundation and important principles to the children. It aims to enable students to identify the foundations, principles and rules of the religion of Islam by building a strong knowledge base to enable them to maintain their faith and identity, and interact with others.

They will learn:

The Five Pillars

Our islamic studies curriculum will covers all 5 pillars of Islam in a fun and interactive way. We aim to make learning about the core features of Islam as natural and dynamic as possible. Each pillar is strategically placed to coincide with the relevant time of the year and we feel each child will be able to learn and feel the true nature of Islam through intelligent study.

Principles

One of our unique features with our Islamic curriculum is the introduction of key islamic principles that have uses across a wide range of topics and situations. We’ve hand picked principles that are comprised of short phrases making it easy for your child to learn. One example would be ‘Surety is not remove by doubt’. This principle can be used for almost any situation where the child finds themselves with doubtful matters. They knew they made wudhoo in the morning but are not sure they broke it, or they knew they took out a loan but are unsure if its paid back.

Lessons related to Tafseer

Tafseer

We cover the explanation of key verses of the Qur’aan while educating the children on key rules of interpretation that will give them the tools necessary to understand the speech of Allaah. Principles such as ‘If Allaah orders something, it is an obligation unless there is evidence to prove otherwise’. So when Allaah says ‘And be good companions to your parents in this world with good character’ this is an obligation and will remain so unless there is clear evidence otherwise. A simple yet powerful principle.

Assessment, Rewards and Incentives

In order to maintain a good level of quality, we will have regular assessments, combined with parents evenings, online supplement work and digital report keeping. We also have at the end of each term incentive driven medals, certificates and a party.

Assessments

We use modern technology to actively stimulate the learning and behaviour of our students. We will be implementing live progress assessments, where each child will have the opportunity to receive points for their efforts, visually see their progress and be rewarded at the end of the term.

Rewards and Incentives

From the many ways in which we encourage the children to work hard and to reach their maximum potential, we hold at the end of each term we hold a fun-filled ‘Qaa.idah Party’, where we will hand out certifications and gifts based upon the students achievements.
