The following terms and conditions represent an agreement between the two parties being; Keen on Deen (Us) and the participant (You). The objectives of these terms and conditions is to facilitate the best possible environment and experience. These terms and conditions are deemed to be binding upon the participant following enrolment to any activity or event. Upon enrolment to any course the participant hereby agrees to abide by the following:

Online Classes

By agreeing to this terms and conditions, you agree that you have the responsibly to provide an adequate internet connection and that your devices are capable of performing the task. Having adequate connection and suitable infrastructure is necessary for a good online learning experience and non of this is our responsibility. Refunds are not eligible for problems on your end.

Clothing

Every student upon enrolment to any class is required to dress in accordance with the Sharee’ah. For males this means clothing must cover the mans ‘Awrah’ and must not reveal ones chest, or shoulders (in accordance with the clothing requirements for prayer). For female students hijab is required.

Participant interaction

Students are required to respect their fellow colleagues and mentors. This means that rude behaviour, sarcasm, and general disrespect will not be tolerated. Failure to do so could lead to disciplinary action including potential expulsion from sessions without a refund.

You are also prohibited from video recording the sessions or sharing pictures or videos of the classes.

Grievances

As with all interaction between people, it is possible that differences and even conflicts can occur. Whilst ‘we’ will take all possible steps to prevent this, it is possible that participants may not be happy with some aspect of our activity or establishment.

In relation to this we remind the participant of the religious obligation to deal with any grievances with the proper Islamic etiquettes, by reporting anything negative directly to Us. This is to ensure any issues are dealt with in an the most efficient and effective manner without causing unnecessary harm

As much as is possible it is desired that any issues arising are dealt with quietly and discreetly. We remind the participant that covering another Muslims mistakes is a vital part of Islam, and is necessary for the cohesion of the Muslim community. We welcome any recommendations and advice and we will take all complaints very seriously.

By conveying ones displeasure without taking the Islamic means of correction the participant may fall into that which haraam and potentially a major sin. We request therefore that participant kindly establish this proactive, constructive and productive communication with us so that we are made aware of any shortcomings.

Payment

Once a participant has committed to study a particular lesson or course, they are obligated to complete the full payment of the course on the first day of the course unless it is formally agreed that participant can pay in instalments.

We note that enrolment to an event indicates a desire by the participant to complete the entire activity and therefore a commitment to pay for its entirety. If, for whatever reason, the participant has been allowed to pay in instalments, they are still therefore obliged to make all the designated payments per the participant’s agreed instalment plan. This is irrespective of whether the participant attends all activities or not.

By committing to a course participants are signing a binding contract that is obligatory to complete and fulfil.

Cancellation and Refunds

Every participant who books an has the right to cancel any booking made (provided we are given in excess of 7 days notice before the activity/lesson start date) due to:

•A booking made by mistake, in which we will give a full re-fund
•In order to change their booking to another activity, in which we will re-fund the difference if it occurs.

If you notify us after 7 days (before the start date) then you will receive 75% refund (25% penalty off) with rights to attend first week paid for.
Once the lesson has started, we cannot give a refund.
Refund can not be made for missed lessons or lateness on your half.

The payment for the course is for the time booked and not for completion of the course for books. So refund can not be made if you did not complete the book or the course.

We reserve the right to cancel any lesson for whatever reason up to 7 days prior to the lesson date and re-fund participants the amount they have paid in full regardless of any fees incurred upon us in order to process their booking transaction.

Personal Data

Any details entrusted to us will not be passed onto any organisation or individual external to Arabic-Courses.com or our sister organisations such as Keen On Deen and Al Madaar. Your information is an ‘Amaanah’ (a trust) and it is sinful to betray this Trust.

We do NOT record any details regarding the users;

Bank account information,

Debit Card/Credit Card information.

All information regarding the users Debit Card/Credit Card is passed directly to PayPal Inc Via a Secure Server guarded by Thawte Security encryption (if payment is processed via PayPal).

The only information that we record about you is information necessary for correspondence, and monitoring the user’s progress.

Any pictures or video recorded during sessions are the ownership of Keen On Deen and therefore can be used for advertising of our services. If one does not wish to be recorded then explicit request must be made to us beforehand.

Copyright

We reserve the rights to all creative efforts that take place with Keen On Deen. This includes media productions, photography, artwork and sound recordings. One cannot sell or request royalties for things produced while on a Keen On Deen activity or classes.
